Somehow the fancy file-work still fits with the rough hammered and blackened blade. I probably would have made the guard curve a little smoother but well done mate.

Good work and a happy customer! That's definitely the way you want to end the year. I've used railroad spike as a guard before, back when I still was doing hidden tang knives. They're higher carbon...
